Model TIP Template for Section 309 of the Regional Haze Rule

The 309 Regional Haze TIP template may be used by those federally recognized tribes located in any of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, and Wyoming. The template contains general language and other elements that are necessary in obtaining U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approval of regional haze implementation plans. Adoption of a regional haze TIP is optional for tribes. The template is a "working" document that allows tribes to insert additional language in their plans. It is accompanied by a 60-page guidance document entitled "Tribal Guidance for Section 309 of the Regional Haze Rule."
